If your tumble stops heating up, there are a few things you can check to resolve the issue. In some cases, there may not be an issue with your appliance, but rather the load you are drying. If you overload your dryer, it cannot work efficiently. It will take longer to dry and, eventually, your dryer will overheat, which will result in damage. There needs to be enough space in the drum to allow air to circulate, so it is important to make sure you don’t fill your machine completely. Alternatively, it could be that there is an issue with the drive belt. To check whether there is an issue with the drive belt, try to manually spin the drum. In a machine where the drive belt is working correctly, the drum should be stiff and difficult to spin. If you are experiencing issues with your tumble dryer please contact Beko’s Customer Service at 0333 207 9710 for assistance. Our expert support team will be more than happy to assist and organise technical assistance for you. We do not recommend that you try to repair the appliance yourself.
