How To Install A Tumble Dryer From Beko

A Step-By-Step Guide On How To Install A Tumble Dryer From Beko

Not sure where to start when installing your new Beko tumble dryer? Follow our step-by-step guide to learn how to fully unpack, set up and instal your new Beko tumble dryer.

Caution: If you have purchased a heat pump tumble dryer, you must wait for 12 hours before first starting it.

Remove the transportation safety packaging from your tumble dryer

  1. Open the loading door.
  2. You will find a nylon bag inside the drum that contains a piece of Styrofoam.
  3. Hold the nylon bag from its section marked with "XX XX".
  4. Pull the nylon towards you to remove the transportation safety packaging.
  5. Check that no part of the transportation safety packaging remains inside the drum.

When installing a tumble dryer, ensure it is completely leve

  1. Lean the tumble dryer back to the side to access both the front and back adjustable feet on that side. Be very careful when lifting, tilting or moving your tumble dryer; whenever possible, have someone assist you.
  2. Turn the adjustable feet to the left or right to change their height. Keep doing this until your tumble dryer stands completely level and does not move around when gently rocked.

Connect the direct drainage hose (Optional)

  1. Pull the direct drainage hose, which is located behind the tumble dryer, by hand to disconnect it from where it is connected. Do not use any tools to remove the hose.
  2. Connect one end of the separate drain hose supplied with the dryer to the connection point from where you removed the hose of the product in the previous step.
  3. Connect the other end of the drain hose directly to the wastewater drain.
  4. The maximum height of the drain needs to be 80 cm.
  5. Ensure the direct drainage hose is not tangled or kinked once installed and make sure you do not step on the hose.

Check your electrical connection

  1. Do not plug your tumble dryer into an extension socket, only ever plug the appliance into a mains wall socket.
  2. Test that the power socket is working by plugging in something you know is working. A light, for example.
  3. Once you have ensured the socket is operational, you can plug your tumble dryer in.
